As in Canada, so in Australia, the crushing defeat of the conservative Liberal Party by Labour has been widely blamed on Trump. But in truth, Peter Dutton and his team only have themselves to blame, says Prof James Allan.

Hi Derek!
Thanks for those words of encouragement - much appreciated.
The same local group that organised the event last year are involved with this Commemoration as well , so it should go as planned .
Thanks!
Sharon.
thanks sharon
we got leaflets in a pub in bluebell over the weekend about this commemoration . there was a few lads putting them on each table and a good reaction from the punters in the pub
c u then
Hi again , Derek!
The only thing against a successful Commemoration seems to be the weather - but we've been out in it before and will be again this coming Sunday no matter what it's like !
"Keep this in mind Aine* my dear love. Tell Ronan** I'm dying for Ireland. When he gets sense and wisdom he will understand that much. Sweet is death for one's country. This is the 7th day of May 1916."

RSF Colour Party , Tomás and Andy.
that went very well on sunday - dignified ceremony , respectable crowd ,
even the weather held up for us!
well done rsf for holding this event
Hi again, Derek!
Nice talking to you on Sunday - you're every bit as sincere as I knew you would be.
The commemoration was a very 'tidy' and well-organised affair - everything , thankfully, went according to plan (except for that minor hic-cup with the camera!) and , as you said - the sun came out for us!
We have your mobile number on file and we'll keep in touch with you and yours via text plus we will continue to publicise up-coming events here on 'Indymedia' as well .
Thanks again!
Sharon.
I was at this commemoration myself,I traveled down from meath to join in,
I was suprised at the way the sunshined when the march from superquinn started off,
It felt like somebody was watching over us!!
I have to say fair play to Andy for chairing the proceedings and to tomas for his detailed speech!
Also to the colour party well done lads,
Long may the sun shine onto our backs as we commemorate our patriotic dead
Hi Peter!
Glad you could make it - thanks for taking the time to travel to it . Sort of makes a show of us Dubs for not travelling to Meath RSF events as often as we should!
Andy and Tómas are both experienced campaigners and , between them , had arranged for that 90-odd minute gap in the otherwise grey skies- we'll expect you and the Meath crew to do the same for us next time we're in your neck of the woods!
Thanks for your comment !
Sharon.
Dont worry sharon I will let everybody know when we are holding a commemoartion and hopefully the sun will come out for us!!
we have a new web-site up and running:
